Whoa... did you see that?
At the end of my last blog entry was a photo of me and the kids. Can someone tell me who that giant kid on the right is? The one who is darn near as tall as me???? I don't know how I missed it when I was posting the pic but I just took another look and was STUNNED to see how close Ben is getting to my height! He's eleven, folks!! And I'm not a shrimp. I'm 5'6". How did this happen?! And today my baby climbed up on the couch by herself and yesterday climbed up on a kitchen chair by herself. She's so not a baby any more. What is happening around here? I'm not ready for my babies to grow up!!!

why do kids have to grow up at all?!
i was telling max that he'll be 4 on his birthday and he kept saying "no I'm 3! I just want to be 3!" and I said "ok, fine by me ... you'll stay 3 forever?" and he said "yep, forever!" ahhh if only it were that easy right??
@junemama - If you scroll alllllll the way to the end of that blog you can't see the picture of me with my lei and the kids? Weird!
Toby is fully embracing the idea of four :( He tells everyone "I'm three but I'll be four on June 20th!" LOL.
oh weird -- i see it now. i'm not crazy (i think?) ... it wasn't there before.
dang, he does look tall!! *sniff sniff* it never gets easier watching our kids get older, does it?
I'll have to do a double take! Ahh, I too am being passed up by the nephews, and Courtney's not far behind me. I don't really know anymore. I am destine to a life of craning my neck to the younger citizens in the family. I feel like I am loosing my authority, not that I really every had any. Molly is climbing on the couch!?! She and Emma would be dearest friends I think. If Molly could stand Emma's scream. Everytime I see pictures of Alyssa, Molly or Emma I can't help but think how alike they look.
Yesterday at the doctor's Christina measured in at 5'6" and 87 pounds! She's 13. I'm 5'5 1/2" myself. I weighed that a year younger than her and 3 inches shorter.
He is tall! Jake is currently 5' 3 1/2" tall, and I'm about 5' 6", so I am still barely taller than him! I have to stand on my tip toes to see what I'm doing when I comb his hair, LOL.
